Tournament for participants 12 years and older. No club teams please. Must have 4 players per team. Entries with 2 players accepted. Will be added to make a 4-player team. Groups of 4 accepted but must have a team name.

Our Annual Youth Fishing Derby took place on Saturday, May 22 at Walnut Pond in Pine Valley Park, Manchester. The day started off drizzly, which may have kept attendance down, but the children that attended all caught at least one fish. This was the first fish ever caught for most of the children. It was an exciting day.

Quantum Internet Services has generously been hosting this site and offering other services for the advancement of charlotte's Quest Nature Center since 2006.

Earth Kids Club is now accepting children ages 8-14.
Also added, a new program Wonders of Nature on the third Friday of each month for children ages 4 - 7.

Charlotte's Quest Nature Center is in need of people with special skills to help with current and future projects. Are you talented in these areas and willing to lend a helping hand?
We are looking for individuals who are proficient with the computer or willing and excited to learn how to maintain our Online Calendar, who can put together our newsletter, maintain our website or keep records of membership. We also need individuals to take the newsletter to the printer and to handle field trip and facility use inquiries and registrations.
Are you a take-charge kind of person? We could use your help with planning Charlotte's Quest's events. Our two major events of the year are Easter Adventure Egg Hunt and Spring Fest.
Do you have a way with words? You may want to search for and write grants to enhance and upgrade Charlotte's Quest.
Numbers your specialty? We could use you to help with bookkeeping, taxes and grant project figures.

Charlotte's Quest is under the direction of the Manchester Parks Foundation and the Town of Manchester. Charlotte's Quest Nature Center is operated by volunteers and one paid staff member, the Naturalist, and is maintained by donations, grants, memberships, and in-kind gifts. No government funding is received.

Our 4 1/2 miles of trails, Walnut Pond, the Stream of Life, the natural springs and forests are open everyday from dawn until dusk. You are welcome to park and walk in.
Feel free to park at the gate and walk in during the hours that the Interpretive Building is not open.
It is the mission of the Manchester Parks Foundation to be stewards of the environment by protecting the watershed area and our precious natural resources, by teaching environmental education to the public, by the restoring of the native plants and animals, and by maintaining a diverse natural world.
REMEMBER: Your nature center grounds are always available 365 days a year from dawn until dusk; just park at the gate and walk in. The hours ONLY affects the open hours of our gate and the Interpretive Building.
